New designer collaborations keep popping up at
Urban Outfitters and we kind of love it. Urban is always full of on-trend, reasonably priced clothing and it’s hard, at least for us, to walk out of that store without impulsively buying something. However, a lot of the clothes are not the most well-made or original, and there’s nothing worse than seeing everyone in town wearing the same dress you just bought, or just knowing instantly where you bought it, even if it was only $50.

The Naked Truth: Apparently, French Playboy published some pictures, many of them nude, of Lara Stone without her consent. She issued a statement saying “It’s not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in.” While French Playboy is probably more similar to French Vogue than American Playboy (Lou Doillon has appeared nude on the cover, willingly), there is something wrong with the magazine publishing the photos without Stone’s knowledge or permission. Her lawyers have begun proceedings against the magazine and photographer Greg Lotus. {
Last night, we stopped by Party for the Pelicans, a charity event held at The Wooly to benefit the oil disaster, specifically the Endangered Species Coalition’s efforts to protect the more than 40 endangered species being negatively impacted. 
The one and only Iggy Pop was on hand at Barneys Co-Op last night to sign t-shirts at the launch of his collection for the store’s Archive 1887 line.
Of course, Iggy Pop doesn’t really wear t-shirts. At last night’s launch celebration, he was wearing a vest with no shirt underneath. If you Google image the punk rock legend, it’s hard to find an image of him with a shirt on.
So I asked him, “You don’t really wear t-shirts–are you going to wear your Barneys’ Archive 1887 line?”
Now prepare yourself for this epic rock star response: “I wear them in the morning when my AC is too cold in my Ferrari–I always wear an Iggy and the Stooges t-shirt,” he told me.
